  Small but relatively quick moving stock-- you're always sure to find something to read and if you ask, they'll order books for you or look into acquiring rarer books. Don't be annoying, but if you want, ask if they have something else downstairs if you're looking for a specific author. Young Adult books are in the kids section, and comics are by the window. Have fun! (Be sure to have a peek at the bargain shelves and bins outside, and there's a lovely donut store next door that closes at 4pm)

  The ubiquitously creaky floorboards are disconcerting, the shelves are overstuffed to the point where it's hard to get books off shelves, and it looks like they're about to tip over. I purchased one used book only to find that the same book would've cost me less to buy new. It wasn't a special edition or anything. The person working there was nice, but I don't plan on ever going back again. I've had much better experiences, both in terms of ambiance and price, at other stores.
