  Previously would come here on and off for about 6 years. one of the cheapest/affordable yoga classes for hot yoga but you're better off donating to yoga to the people. If you go there constant and sign up for the email they ask for yogi's that want to trade classes for cleaning. Some of the rental mats aren't always clean and a lot of the towels are too old and used by many. If you decide to be a worker they will ask you to clean the locker rooms, toilets etc for 4 hours once a week. The men's locker room has no ventilation and has a smell like beginning stages of mold. The women's locker room is always packed, everyone showers and leaves their underwear and if you can't seem to get there on time you won't be buzzed into the building. They only have one yoga room and the carpet has not been changed since the first day I took class there. The smell is horrid but you get used to it once the heat overwhelms you lol The community classes & late night classes are the worst time to come because even when it is full they practically try to squeeze in as much people as they can. You're forced to sacrifice your personal space and end up in an unhygienic situation with the stranger next to you shaking their sweat on you.

  I give this place 1 star because of its great instructors except the west indian lady with an accent. I didnt care to ask her name since she was so nasty and rude to me. Common sense for a sensible person would be to be nice and pleasant to the customers. So they can keep coming back. Plus when she instructs a class she doesnt help you she claps like a dummy and demeans people. Making you feel bad for not knowing how to do the yoga moves. When i asked her about the billing options i repeated the information and shes like no and explained the same payment information i told her. Then kept saying do you understand with an attitude. I was very close to cussing her out but kept my composure. To bad theres not many yoga places in the Bronx. So i will be going to manhattan for my yoga classes.

  I come to this studio about twice a month and the class I just experienced will be my last time there. Where do I begin.. the class was so overpacked and they just kept letting people in I assume to make extra money since this was a drop in class. It got to the point where mats were literally right next to one another even the guy next to me made comments about leaving because it was so uncomfortable. The rug is also pretty gross and damp everytime which makes me nervous for infections. The worst part was the instructor hands down just a rude woman. She seemed like she had no interest in what she was doing and just wanted to get the class over. I could barely understand what she was even saying half of the time. She continuously belittled newer students demanding they do poses which clearly they were uncomfotable with I felt bad for them it was so embarrassing. One girl was stretching her hip and the instructor stopped the class to reprimand her not to do any other sorts of stretches in the room even when the girl explained she had hip pain. She was shouting so fast i felt like i was at an auction with random loud hand clapping here and there Honestly the whole hour is one I wish I could have back in my life. No one should leave yoga uncomfortable and angry such a waste of time and money. I will not be going back and I hope they reevaluate their staff and cleanliness procedures.

  I think the classes are phenomenal and the concept of a hot room is amazing. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star and not a 5 is because the place has a carpet, which may be a bit unhygienic. Otherwise, the classes are great specially for the price.

  My first experience there was ok not bad but what made it so bad I got towels to rent and I payed cash how they gave me a fake $10 bill I emailed everyone about it even the owner and them try to brush me off i don't care if it was only $10 it's the principle
