  These folks do at least three seasonal festival every year: Strawberry, Corn, and Pumpkin. An amazing amount of work and it is free - just like the sails they offer on the Woody Guthrie, a ferry sloop. They carry on Pete Seeger's vision. Bring people to the River and they will love it and take care of it. And they are a Sloop Club, not a yacht club!

  One of the best places to learn about the history of the Clearwater movement and the Sloop Woody Guthrie. A warm group of environmentalists, activists, and musicians. Monthly pot luck and circle of song is an American cultural treasure.
