  One of the best places for cheese in town. The staff are helpful and know their cheeses. They also have a great selection of sauces, tea, spices, chocolate, charcuterie, and pasta.

  I’ve been in Seattle for just over a year and this is the closest I’ve found to a European\Mediterranean\Italian deli. It feels like you’re in a dark gloomy warehouse. The staff is moderately helpful. There’s a large selection of meats and cheeses, but they don’t have a deli slicer-go figure? Large selection of bulk foods. What’s especially interesting is they have many different book flour products to make pasta; including gluten-free. If you like olives, there’s a large selection and the staff is willing to allow you to have a taste; all you need to do is ask. There’s also a large selection of reasonably priced wines, many which have reviews. Inconveniently located just south of downtown, but definitely worth the trip.

  Loved this market - a bit of old world flavor in the style and setup of this place! Lots of authentic Italian foods and bulk foods... Loved the cheese case - even though they won't slice and they don't sell below 1/2# qualities - such a selection! Be sure to bring your own bags for your purchases. I got a spice blend from the bulk foods section that includes saffron and curry and it smells wonderful!
