::This pub is a charming place, with authentic food and drinks. I went here with a friend who lived in London for two years, and she was surprised to discover items on their menu that she hadn’t seen since returning to the US. If you’re looking for hearty comfort food, this is a great place to go. If you’re looking for good deals on drinks, or drinks you haven’t been able to find in the states, this might also be a good place for you to try. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are sports (often soccer/football) displayed on a couple of screens set up around the bar. The only serious inaccuracy, according to my friend, was the height of the ceilings, which climbed probably 20+ feed in the air. In England, the ceilings of pubs tend to be very low and cozy, so this detracted from the traditional feeling. They do try to make things feel more enclosed by hanging light strands and decorations at a more standard height, but there’s no escaping the airy, vacuous sensation hanging around.

::Absolutely wonderful experience! We sat at the bar and were IMMEDIATELY greeted and welcomed with offers of drinks and menus. The bartender was personable and kind and thoroughly enjoyable. The food was exactly what we’d been looking for as well. They don’t just say “pub” for fun. They live up to it. This was our first date night without children in months and this place was a great choice! We would definitely return during another visit to Queen City. Thank you Big Ben. You’re doing it right.

::A great British pub. Cozy yet ample where needed. Great beers on tap and traditional British bar foods. Staff is attentive and welcoming. I'd recommend for fútbol games and group outings. Prices are fair and expected for the area. Close vicinity to a varied selection or eateries and bars. Stop by and enjoy a pint! #letsguide

::Food was pretty good, service was okay. Door wouldn't shut all the way when people were entering and leaving and it was getting cold. Food and drinks took a long time to arrive. Person with me got a much smaller piece on the fish and chips than the rest of us but they corrected it. Ambience is nice.

::Nice atmosphere. Very dirty glasses. My husband got a sample and there was ketchup inside the rim of the glass. Bartender poured me a glass and snatched it from me and said “JESUS CHRIST!” I’m guessing because there was something in that glass too. Food looked good but we didn’t eat. Just grabbed a drink after visiting another store. I would like to try this place again but I feel bad that their dishes aren’t getting cleaned well enough.
