::Avoid if you have food allergies! I was so excited to try Bia Vietnamese on Union Turnpike. (I love Vietnamese food and I have eaten it many times at various restaurants.) I just went out of the way with my kids to go there. I told the server about my shrimp allergy and she told me I should leave. She said their kitchen is such a mess that cross contamination is a big issue! What? I have never heard of anything like this! She said there is not one safe thing she could serve me and she gave me a big attitude. Not even one item. I left annoyed an unimpressed! So, heads up, don’t try to go to this restaurant if this is an issue for you as well.

::Very unprofessional. Mediocre food. My wife and I brought my two sons. Brought drinks to the table on the tray and asked us to pick up ou4 glasses. We ordered 4 main and 2 appetizers. The server brought a dish at a time without using a tray. Holding bowl's rim with two hands... Wow! One of two appetizers came after main dishes. Had to ask for small plates to share appetizers. They need to train servers there. Oh, one more thing. The bathroom floors were sticky... Workers seemed nice people. They just didn't seem to know, trained or experienced.

::When we found out a new Vietnamese restaurant was opening up in the neighborhood we were super excited. Unfortunately we feel that this restaurant is "dropping the ball" in terms of their food. I still really enjoyed the rice plate entree and they have good alcohol but they have a problem with not giving enough meat in their soup bowls and ancillary side dishes/appetizers. When you get your meal it just doesnt feel like you get what you paid for. For example the chicken wings looked ripped apart and dried up. They didnt taste fresh and I honestly didnt even finish eating them. There was also another time when they practically ran out of everything on the menu. We really want this place to thrive because we love having a Vietnamese place close by and the ambiance of this place is great. They just need to work a little harder on giving good quality and good portioned food and the business will come.
