  We are from Portland, Oregon and were in Manhattan for Spring Break earlier this week. Our 16 year old son, an aspiring bodybuilder, begged us to take a detour from our original plan and take him all the way out to this gym just so he could train where legends have trained. We were immediately greeted by Lou, who is simply a great guy. He made us feel very welcome and he let me take a look around before we left our son alone for a couple of hours to live one of his dreams. I have been to a lot of gyms in my day and this one is the real deal. It definitely lives up to the hype and the legend. My son's smile couldn't have been wider when we picked him up. Not only was it everything he had hoped for, he also met a legend...Steve Weinberger. Steve was very kind and even took a photo with our son. Thanks again, guys!

  Excellent gym, no nonesense kind of gym without any gimmicks. No djs, no waiting for people to finish their selfie before I can use the equipment, glad I switched from down the block.
