  The staff, hotel, and rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the free HOT breakfast every morning. Sadly, I think this hotel is simply placed in a bad location. We learned that it is located on what's known as "Methadone Mile," which makes sense after the fact. Lots of people roaming around, we didn't feel safe walking at night. Between that, and the fact that it is VERY close to Boston Medical Center causing ambulances and police sirens to go off at all hours of the night made it a worse experience. The hotel does provide ear plugs on both sides of the bed, as they realize this. However, I worried I would miss my wake up alarm. Again, nice hotel, just bad location.

  Pretty ordinary 3-star hotel. Pros: - Great price; we booked a King bed suite for less than $100, last-minute - Nice, efficient staff - Clean rooms Cons: - Hallways and common areas had a heavy mold smell - Location was dodgy; lots of street activity. Would not feel comfortable parking there. - Lots of street noise (sirens, etc). They did provide earplugs with the room, but ideally that's not necessary.

  I highly recommend the Best Western Hotel in Boston Ma on 891 Massachusetes Ave. The rooms are big and clean. I think they are all suites and the extra room was an added plus. The staff is most helpful and they give the time and have patience for all your needs. Breakfast was a variety and pretty good. The location was convenient to a train station. They have a shuttle to the red line and orange line. The schedule could be a little better but they really try to accommodate your needs. The hotels closer to town were way more expensive. I never had a problem with a Best Western before.

  Had a 2 night stay. Clean hotel and room. The room was large and had a separate sitting area. Bathroom was clean and up to Date. Our sink was semi-clogged but nothing to hinder or cause problems for us. Hot breakfast was included and the staff was great. Parking was free in a lot next to the hotel. The area was not one I'd want to walk in at night but the location was a10 minute drive from to hotel and Little Italy/North Boston. It was quite comfortable.

  Selected hotel based on price not having any geographic knowledge of Boston. The hotel itself is terrific. Rooms have separate lounge area with desk, fridge. Comfortable king bed with good linen and large bathroom with bright lights! Full breakfast and very, very clean. Lovely space after 35 consecutive nights in hotels across country. The price reflects the location, industrial area near hospital. We had a car so the location was not important to us.
