  The level of care depends on the individuals issues. My mother was mostly non-verbal and had diminished cognitive abilities, so since she didn't ask for anything she was often overlooked until last. This isn't to say that the care was bad its just that they couldn't provide the attention that someone like my mother needed. That being said, the other more higher-functioning clients were well cared-for and seemed to enjoy being there and everyone did a good job with with what they had.

  They will hurt you there .I was there for Physical therapy after back surgery .They shut off call buttons on the rooms so they leave the elder in there own waste I had to put call button back on . They make you worse leave everyone in bed even for dinner . Physical therapy was okay but the that place has roaches don't care about anyone I had 2 nice nurses the rest were mean nasty and asked me what are you here for Your to young Physical therapy but they new came with my meds a few night I even went to nurses station and they never came to give me my meds . Sick I would never put anyone in that place please not your parents it mad me sick and I was a nurses easy. Before getting hurt God bless all the patients there new York

  Why do you think I have returned for rehab four times?!?! Because this place is amazing!! The therapy team are amazing, the food is delicious, and the building is very clean. If I have to receive treatment again, Berkshire is where I'm going.

  My dad was in Hospice care and unfortunately was only there for a couple of days before passing. The staff was very attentive, loving and kind. I'm grateful to Lori who worked hard on admitting him and helping our family have him closer to us. It is with great appreciation that I would recommend this center to family and friends.
