::I’m genuinely the best version of myself here. I love how they have such a strong diversity of products and especially price points. You can find cheap box mixes and fancy spices all in one store. It’s lovely! I want the whole world to know about this place and I’m so lucky I got to experience it.

::Love love love! This my might my favorite supermarket in the US! All the veggies and fruits are fresh, and they have such a big variety. I found green plantains here too (if you are from the Caribbean you will understand) !

::Berkeley Bowl, man this place. This is not just an above-average grocery store (catering to a group of old white women who believe they themselves are above average), BUT a place you can find love, maybe. I didn’t, well not yet at least. I’m writing this review not only to sing my praises of B-bowl (Berkeley Bowl west is a sham and has wayyy less soul, don’t even get me started on that. I will be writing a review there shortly after the ships-in-the-night mishap where you took down my post on the community board about connecting with what turned out not to be a lover but a totally unwarranted restraining order, let me tell you.) I digress. But, I write this review as a last hope to the woman in the mushroom aisle. If you remember me, yesterday in the mushroom aisle (Sunday Nov. 6th around noon), We locked eyes for a brief but magical moment before you adverted your gaze. I would love to not let this moment go to waste. If you see this review because you also saw what I saw. Meet me in the mushroom aisle (the conventional ones, what's the point of organic mushrooms anyways) at noon next Sunday. We do the craziest things for love and I realize if you are reading this, it must mean we were meant to go on a date. I hope to see you next Sunday, Lady from the mushroom aisle.

::Great selection of fresh produce, fruits, meat, local, international items, everything for vegetarians, vegans, religious diets, carnivores, and everything in between. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, be prepared for long lines. Across from Walgreens. Plenty of parking, 18 bus stop around the corner. Price adds up, so make a grocery list and shop wisely, especially if you're a student. 4 stars for the lines, or else 5. Fresh here is where it's at.

::This place is probably my favorite place to go grocery shopping. Wide variety of kombucha! I’ve been shopping here since I was a kid and have always found something new every time I come in. The bulk section is phenomenal and has a huge selection of nuts, dried fruit, pasta, flour, tea, spices, and dehydrated food. Lots of seasonal produce. I’m looking forward to the deli reopening once they’re done working on it.
