  Bergen fence installed a fence 2 years ago at my residence. Recently i observed one of the fence posts swaying with light wind. I called bergen fence and spoke with the operator and had to call back several times to have someone look at it. Made an appointment and the manager showed up a week later and said sorry that he didnt come because of the storm. He stated he would get back to me and it has been about a month. I dug around the fence post today to find the issue and noticed the installers of bergen fence cut the post so it is literally half a post to avoid a tree root. Steer clear of this company, they take short cuts and have terrible customer service. See attached photographs.

  awful company, period. estimated a repair for me end of 2017, aprx. $425 for a top rail for a single section of metal fencing - then winter. i returned the contract and payment in february, 2018 - after i presumed, the last snow of the year. bergen fence shows up at my property late march, 2018 - apologizes for the month delay!, but says they increased their prices in january - 2018, by $100 (now aprx. $525)... since i made payment in february, 2018 - bergen fence says they wouldn't honor their original estimate of aprx. $425!!! putting aside their rip-off prices, my story clearly illustrates bergen fence's chintzy approach to doing business. steer clear.

  After spending over$1900 for railings I needed after a stroke.....my worst fear came true...small cracks in 2 stairs. Knew they weren't there b4 as I have recent pix. They gave me the runaround saying their crew didn't cause them. Can't win an argument after they have been paid in full. Lesson: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!

  Great crew. Hector and his crew were here, and did a phenomenal job, addressed each and every one of our concerns. We love the automatic closing gates. One of the young men even put a few bricks along the bottom of a section that, because of a concrete path, left a small gap the our dog would have been able to get out through. Andrew, the salesman made us feel at ease throughout the entire process and very comfortable with the purchase. They were over $2000.00 dollars less than the other company we got an estimate from. Overall, thrilled with the outcome and would definitely recommend hiring Bergen Fence for ALL of your fencing needs.
