  They've worked hard to improve both the appearance and the quality of care. There are so many amazing people here, from the CNAs to the nurses to dietary staff to the administration.

  The Bensonhurst Center is a great facility. I am now able to return back to my Assisted Living safely. The food here is very tasty. Mr. Efraim, the Administrator, made sure that all my needs were taken care of.

  Terrible! I would visit my grandmother at night & they were so understaffed that even those who truly cared about patients could not care for them. I would walk past rooms where people pushed their call button & were still waiting 30 or even 40 mins later. Someone should sue. I was there at times when most visitors were not, so I got to see this. If someone calls out, the home should mandate other workers to stay even if it means OT pay. How dare they think of $$ instead of what is both morally and likely legally right. I KNOW my grandmother pushed her call button the night she "went home", because once they were put to bed, they would have never known she passed until morning. She had to have pushed the button for help, and if they would have arrived earlier they could have assisted with her breathing. I hope the guilt eats away at the administrators who had the place understaffed. They prob fix records whenever someone "expires" as they put it, so that they can be in the clear & show that they had enough staff. Someone needs to investigate payroll records & match them up with what they have down on paper. They are just the worst! Please, someone fix this place!

  I planned Total Knee Replacement, and after touring several Rehab facilities I decided to stay here for 1 week of physical therapy, before going home. I can't say enough about the thoughtful and supportive administration and nursing staff. They answered every single question and concern with professionalism and empathy. I never felt like a burden and my privacy was priority #1. The Supervisors, RN's and Aides on each tour assisted with my every need and request when they were able. PT was challenging and knowledgeable, which is what I was looking for. I was wheeled in and in 8 days, went home with a cane. Please do your homework, check the CMS ratings and compare different facilities, then take a tour. I guarantee you will be as satisfied as I was to stay at Bensonhurst Center. I sincerely wish you Healthy and Peace !! I

  Several weeks ago. I injured my leg by at my home. I needed rehabilitation. At the Bensonhurst Center, the care and concern I received has been exemplary especially from the Administrator, Mr. Acker. The therapists and nursing staff were always kind and made sure that I was safe to go back home. The facility is kept very clean. I felt very comfortable during my entire stay here.
