  In June 2013, I contracted Bengal Construction to do my sidewalk, fix my steps and the platform leading down to my basement. The person that came to give me an estimate seemed knowledgeable and his price was competitive. My husband made the mistake of paying them all the money upfront. Needless to say, this is the worst job I have ever seen. The lines in the sidewalk are crooked and there is a slope or bump right in front of the steps. By October, there was a large crack right down the middle. It is March and there are now huge pieces of concrete missing all over. The platform going down to the basement is completely unfinished, bumpy and has an edge that allows for someone to trip down the stairs. It basically looks like I did the job myself.
