::great place to get some awesome 360 degree views but you need to come on a clear day for you best photos and viewing no matter what part of the tower you look from the Sun will ALWAYS be in your eyes making it difficult to see far out especially with your binoculars. the trails are good but be familiar with which ones there are SO MANY here and it SO EASY to take the wrong one and get lost it is a VERY rocky hilly area so bring your hiking shoes they are a MUST on these trails. just off of 93 and Woburn/ Winchester, Medford, Stoneham and even Melrose are not far away as well as the pond though they advise to stay off of most of reservoir trails you can still visit them as long as you dont litter and stay on the MARKED trails around them. its a BIG area here of forest so know your surroundings enjoy the woods and the gorgeous views of alL around the views here i think are better than Wrights Tower in medford so enjoy this for as beat up as it may look its WORTH the short hike! PS Exit 35 off of 93 is EXIT ONLY! so there is ONLY ONE WAY on/off the Interstate look for the Signs if you travel here by there and are not familiar with the local back roads!
