We were passing through and were in need of coffee and some breakfast kinda food and Google said this was the only cafe nearby open at that time. It took an extra minute to find it, since it's not the usual hot colors and high boards coffee shops, this cafe is in the middle of 2 story houses on the main street and have to drive around to park behind the cafe or if you know exactly where it is you can park on the main street and walk to the cafe. The cafe set-up is very home-like and cozy. The coffee for the day was Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and it was our first time and it was really good! The person who took the orders was very patient with us and even checked with the chef when we mentioned if they can make a side of eggs instead of meat for the French Toast and I am pretty sure that's not something they do regularly but they customized it for us! Also my daughter's breakfast quesadilla was rich with some nice veggies!! 🍄🫑 You can sit by the window and watch outside while you wait/sip your coffee! Also there were some board games on some of the tables, which I thought was cool!

Veggie quiche was flavorful, the corn in it sort of threw me off. Sausage quiche was bland and very dry and seemed old. The espresso was really disappointing. The presentation was great but right away you could tell the cups were too large which is always a bad sign. 1-2 shot espresso drinks were clearly over pulled to add volume. Drinks were watery and flavorless. Almost undrinkable. For the first time in a long time, I left my drink unfinished. Also, they have a fish tank with two iridescent shark catfish that have sores on their noses from being in too small of a fish tank. I guess that’s not super relevant to my dining experience - but either upgrade your tank to something adequate for that animal or rehome them. Just super weird experience all around.

I guess being in the busy city of Louisville all the time it was very nice to get away. I was pleased by this little coffee shop. It felt very homey and I loved the atmosphere here along with the location. Well within walking distance of some really cool shops and restaurants. I think what I loved so much about it was it was just so different from what I'm used too. You could go up to the second floor and just sit next to the window. They had board games to play which I thought was awesome. The people were so nice the man who was making our drinks was very helpful when we asked about the different drinks. My friend has a dairy allergy and he was helpful with giving her alternatives.

We have been here a few times but this was our first time having a full breakfast. It was fantastic! We had fun eating, sipping coffee and watching the world go by outside the window. Cute spot, we’ll be back….to try more menu items……lots of yummy ones to choose from :)

Walked all the way from my hotel to this bakery bc it was the closest one that was open. Not sure why all the others within a few miles were closed on a Sunday but I’m sure any of them would have been better than this. Despite having smoothies on the menu behind her, the girl at the register told me they didn’t have smoothies at this location and asked me if I’d like anything else. All that was in the display case were pecan pies and this one cinnamon roll, so I took that. Hands down the worst cinnamon roll I’ve ever had and the first time in my 29 years on earth that I’ve ever thrown one away. I would never come here again based on this experience.
