  I just want to thank Rev. Jim Rooney for creating such a great atmosphere during the ceremony. Jim really goes out of his way to make everything perfect. Nothing could have gone better. I'm so glad I found Jim on Google maps. Thank you so much!!!

  We knew from the moment we were received by Jim and Adrian that we would love this experience, and sure enough, our stay at the Beacon Hermitage was wonderful! The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished, and we enjoyed the amazing array of Adrian's pancakes. Since we were badly in need of peace and quiet, we used the back room on the side of the woods, where we found both. Our altogether delightful experience was rounded off by interesting conversations with our hosts and the no less pleasant communication with their various four-legged house mates.

  I was the photographer at a recent wedding where Reverend Jim officiated. Let's just say I had a hard time remaining focussed on the task at hand because he did such an amazing job. It was clear he had taken the time to get to know the couple. Everyone present was moved by the ceremony. I have the photos to prove it! I have attended many weddings and if I were to ever marry, I would choose Reverend Jim for my own wedding.

  What a fantastic place. Peaceful with stunning views all around the Hudson river. We went in the spring time and the weather was perfect for walks along the river. Both Rev Jim and Adrian were excellent with our 2 kids and made our stay a wonderful experience.

  Rev. Jim couldn't be nicer. He helped us decide on a service and even helped with family issues we had. We discussed how we would like the service to be performed and it was just a perfect ceremony and a perfect day. The ceremony was right on time. I am very thankful to God for having Rev Jim be there for Kevin and I.
