::Small but charming eating space, but reminiscent of a European cafe. Food was homemade and offered a lot of different options. Veggie burger was a little dry but falafel was a standout and pancakes were super fluffy.

::Beacon Falls Cafe sits right on main street. It's a very small quaint place with lots of charm. Service was fast and friendly. Menu was your typical Cafe favorites at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a trip if your hungry for some mid afternoon food.

::I went in around 12:00, right before the lunch rush. I was a little put off by the plastic water cup I was given, its not a cheap place thats why I even mention it. As far as food goes, it was amazing, seriously. The eggplant fries were well executed and the portions were large. Great service too.

::Overall we were disappointed at the quality of the food and service. It's hard to judge restaurant on a single visit. This was a Sunday afternoon. The waitress was new and didn't know much about the menu and when she was confronted with a problem she didn't have any idea what to do about it. The Rhode Island style fried calamari was heaped with vinegar peppers. The menu says tossed in a sauce of hot cherry peppers garlic butter and olive oil... But really you could not really taste the garlic butter and olive oil as the peppers which seemed very vinegary to me dominated. I love garlic oil and butter and I would like to have had calamari in a garlic butter and also since I don't care much for marinara sauce but the sauce on this dish was just unpleasantly strong and vinegary. My wife's Reuben came and the underside bread was put on top of pickles or somehow made wet so that the bottom of her sandwich was soaked with soggy bread instead of toasted bread as she requested. Again when she mentioned it to the waitress, she didn't offer to do anything about it she just looked confused. The overall quality of the salad I had and the calamari that wasn't soaked in peppers was good as was the the Reuben. Hopefully you will have a better experience.

::I walked into this spot for lunch with a few people and there was some apprehension in seating us. They list their closing time at 5pm and we got there just before 3pm. It looked like they were trying to wrap up the last of their service so that they could close earlier which is super misleading. The sandwich below is a salmon blt minus the bacon. It was okay. The fries weren’t bad either. We did have calamari for an appetizer and it tasted like it came from a freezer. I was underwhelmed by the food but even more so by the service. I watched them turn away customers and put the closed sign up and it wasn’t yet 4pm. I won’t be returning. They should remember that customers are the ONLY reason that restaurants stay open and make money.
