  If you are reading this looking for an insulation contractor do yourself a favor and call Peter and Ian at Breeze Control for an estimate (and hire them!). I recently bought a recently renovated 100 year-old house and when the temperatures fell below 20, all my pipes and drains in my master bathroom were frozen for weeks. It was a nightmare. I had already been getting quotes from other insulation contractors who participate in the NJ energy star program and even qualified for the $2000 rebate, but I found that whole process shady. These companies seem to take advantage of their exclusive certification by massively marking up their services and recommending unnecessary work. Peter is very patient and thorough, visiting my house a second time to discuss the strategy for fixing the freezing pipes in person because I missed him the first time. He then visted a third time to re-measure because I decided to change the scope of work 3 days before we were due to start. Peter and Ian showed me photographs as they opened up my roof and siding, giving me the play-by-play of what they were seeing and how confident they were that they could address the issue. I strongly got the sense that they cared as much as I did about fixing my house and that they were conscientiously working on it as if it were there own home. I would recommend Breeze Control without hesitation. Their pricing was very reasonable (even coming in UNDER estimate), the entire process was a pleasure and my house is warmer and pipes no longer freeze.

  Ian came out for an estimate to replace our whole house attic fan one day after my phone call, and we scheduled the replacement. We also asked to have a roof vent fan installed at the same time. We wanted a solid quality fan, not a HD bargain special. Ian told us the brand of fan he'd be installing, and our research confirmed it was a quality product. The price for both jobs was more than fair. The day of the job, Ian and Pete arrived exactly on time, got to work, and the job was finished quickly and neatly. The new attic fan is very quiet. The roof vent fan runs automatically, on a thermostat. Good family-run company, good customer service.
