::Brother had cancer surgery. Outstanding facilities, uncluttered, clean & professional/friendly staff. One exception, more frequent cleaning/re-supply of restrooms (main surgical waiting area). Special/notable recognition for the 2 RN coordinators for families (Arlene W & Sharon A). Cannot say enough good about these ladies demonstration at a high level of professionalism, caring, informative, friendly & communication. They made a long, stressful day so much easier & it does not go unnoticed & is appreciated!

::I've been here at Baylor for a week now on the 10th floor and the nurses that has taken care of me has been absolutely wonderful. It started with Genesis, Jessica, Hayley, Sabrina and Matthew from the emergency room. Also there were 2 cafeteria works that made sure I had a lunch when I didn't have one . I absolutely appreciat these people from the bottom of my heart, I've never had care this good before.

::I had a major surgery yesterday. I was extremely nervous. But everyone made me feel so comfortable and at peace. The Team was set up so perfectly and professionally. You went from one person to the next, being guided every step of the way. The nurses would call my husband often telling him when they started my surgery, to being done, to being taken into the recovery room, then coming to get him to lead the way. I was checked on often the entire time. I've had several previous surgeries at other hospitals, NEVER had the same special care. If I ever have to have one again, it will definitely be at this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

::This nurses, doctors, total hospital was super good and helpful to my husband Terry Miles, while he was there. Major surgery and they all was on point. I recommend Baylor Hospital to everyone.

::My experience is that this hospital is not family friendly for those who are out of the area. I had to come from out of state on the fly because my son was admitted to the ICU. I was shocked at how there are no amenities for families in the situation mine was in. Amenities being a place to lie down, a place to wash up, and a gift store that carries sensible items a family member might need when they have to come at the last minute. Of course I am basing my expectations for a hospital of this size based on my past experience at other hospitals. Had I know how hostile this place was towards accommodating out of state families I would have set up a go fund me page. But then I did not have the time for that. It was no fun having to operate on little to no sleep because you want to be with your loved one and there are no affordable places to rest. As for the staff they were professional, answered all my questions and were helpful within the scope of their position. And I guess when it comes to your loved ones care it was very good. And that is the important thing. I just wish the administration believed that families can play an important part towards positive outcomes for the patient and would be more supportive to families who come from out of the area.
