  Now called "Carlita's Day Spa" in Independence, Ohio Walked in for a 90 minute massage after a hard job, to my surprise and perhaps should have sparked suspicion was taken right away. The open at ceiling (not private) room were loud and loud music and conversations happened during my treatment. On the table my necklace was still on so I handed it to the masseuse, after I dressed in the very dark room (no light to turn on) I continued to have a pedicure and a wash and blow out, so I was there for more than a hour more. When I arrived back to my hotel I noticed I wasn't wearing my necklace, I immediately called but they were closed, I left a message and then went back first thing in the morning, to guess what NO necklace. The owner is a horrible human being, when I called the next day to check in she had her "manager" threaten me on the phone if I leave a bad review. BEWARE

  Aweful!! Do NOT go to this place! Curious as to why they are never busy and always have appointments? I've come here a couple times because I've gotten gift cards for massages, etc. The massages were okay, but the girl didn't listen to anything I said about my back hurting and focusing more time there, I would have been much more frustrated with the experience if I had paid for it myself. This last experience was the WORST haircut I have EVER had- and I've had my hair cut at hair schools many times before. In the middle of my haircut, with my hair still wet, she goes to "check" the highlights that she had started on someone else. This turns into 30 MINUTES (I timed it) of her taking the foil out, washing her hair and completely styling her hair, all in a very casual manner while just chit chatting and in no apparent hurry. When she finally comes back to me, she must have forgotten that she didn't finish cutting my hair, she blow dries it and calls it a day. I was SO livid. I would have walked out and never would have paid for that haircut except I knew someone who worked there and didn't want them to take heat for it. Seriously, the staff is incredibly unprofessional, I have no idea how this place is still open. As for my friend, she quite that awful place as soon as she could, good riddance! Wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business soon.

  The service was horrible. The owner, Carla, was very unprofessional. She made her hair stylist run out to get change for her own tip, while she was sitting there getting eyelash extensions. My Shellac Manicure was done poorly, my cuticles weren't cut and no massage with it. I didn't get a style with my haircut. I had to go home and finish it. The receptionist brought me a glass of water which was warm tap water... disgusting! This place is over priced for the poor quality and service that is provided.

  After i was done eating at the Creekside Restaurant with my buds , Carla Bella Day Spa was next door.So we just walked into the spa and I was there with my friends, and we all decided to get a massage and they provided us with hot tea or coffee right when we walked in. It was so calm and peaceful in the room and the Employees were so nice and it just felt amazing that day. I would definitely recommend this day spa.

  This is a very small, informal establishment owned by Carla, who appears to be practically the sole provider of all the spa services as well as the receptionist. Of course this in itself does not have to be a drawback, but in my particular case it was. I went to the spa to get a fill for my acryllic nails, and was charged $30 to basically get my nails covered with several layers of glue (which she called resin) while she talked on the phone. There was no actual fill done on the nails at all. She insists the nails will not lift, which may prove to be true, but my nails do not look good, as the lines where the fill should be are quite apparent.
