  I've become a frequent shopper here. The hot food counter is great for a fast, delicious takeout dinner or lunch, and the prepackaged foods are a great option as well. I've catered from Bassett and been very happy, too!

  An excellent variety and select of hot and cold food. As a catering hall, Basset's is no stranger to good food. You could go every day of the week and have something different. They have the best meatloaf and chicken parm that you can get. I highly recommend Basset's for anyone and everyone.

  This is one of the best delicatessen in bklyn. I've been coming here for years now, and im always satisfied with all my orders. They have a wide variety of hot plate foods, fresh deli meats, breads, salads and pizzeria foods, made fresh everyday. You can dine in or order to go. Great place to have lunch. The employees are fantastic and friendly. They also do wonderful catering services. Top Notch Establishment.

  This is a great place for lunch . the food is always good, the sandwiches are the best. They also have good restaurant quality hot food available from 11am to around 430pm best time to go there is between 12 and 2 it's well worth the trip, great place to eat food never upset your stomach and they have good take out stuff to warm up for dinner as well. you can't go wrong with with this place. After 20 years of eating there I don't have a single complaint.
