  We eat at Barrel every once in a while and have never had a bad experience. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly, the cocktails are good, and the oven - baked macaroni and cheese is probably my favorite in DC!

  Good beer and burgers. I had one where the paties where surroundes by a French toast. Delicious, mainly if you enjoy mixing sweet and salt dishes. It was kind of busy, and the music was to laid to keep a conversation with my friends, but other than that is a good place to have a good beer.

  Great happy hour. I've stopped here several times now during my trips to DC. I enjoy trying new whiskey and good food. I'll certainly be back again!

  Great service! Have been for brunch on the weekend and for drinks in the evening. Both times the place was fairly busy, but the waitstaff was really nice and attentive. Poprocks pancakes were tasty!

  We we're downstairs in the basement (dungeons??) ( not wheelchair accessible, but street level is). There is a separate bar and table service. Limited menu, but nice selections, veggies, fish tacos (a bit hot/spicy). Overall very nice.
