::On my leisure trip to Boston, Ashley, the manager of cosmetics, was fantastic and a wonderful conversationalist. I was shopping for a new, Byredo perfume and I was taken with Mojave Ghost as my final selection. It’s clear Ashley knows the needs of her clientele and can help you find your perfect [insert season here] scent. I will wait to come back to BNY in Boston again in July to buy another Byredo fragrance because I really think their salespeople in the cosmetic area is that good. Thank you for a lovely experience!

::The merchandise is fine but the staff is rude. With the exception of the really sweet Asian woman who works on the first floor. The other employees are tired and delayed.

::Beautiful store, poor customer service. My wife and I are in our early 30's and we occasionally come down to Boston to shop. We went into Neiman Marcus & Saks, and all sales associates were very helpful and attentive. The sales associates at Barneys completed ignored us. I'm not sure if they assumed we didn't have money because we were both dressed casually (shorts and polo shirt). I came in to sample some of the niche fragrances that Barney's carries, and when I say I was ignored, I mean it was as though I wasn't there. There were plenty of people that could have helped us, and I watched them doting over several of the better dressed older customers in the store. It's a shame as we had money to spend! We got fed up after about 15-20 minutes and left. Maybe we will try heading in there next time we come into Boston to give it a second chance, but for now, I am pretty disappointed with their level of customer service.

::If I could give 0 stars, I would. I bought a pair of Manalo heels, exclusive collection, from Barney's for my WEDDING DAY. I only wore the heels for two hours ( the ceremony and photo shoot). I changed into flats for the rest of the day. Upon my arrival, I discovered that the shoes were ripped, although I was using them very carefully and I even used heel protectors to walk on the grass. I went to Barneys to figure out a way to handle this defective product- I am not going to speak about how rude she was to me, but I ended up dealing with the manager. I am VERY disappointed to hear that BOTH Barney's and Manalo are not able to even FIX it. I didn't even ask for a return or refund my $1,085 shoes. I own many designer shoes similar and more expensive/ delicate than these shoes and I have never experienced anything similar to this. This will be the last time I will ever buy through Barney's or Manalo. Please be careful with these types of shoes as Barney's will not be able to help in ANY way at all.

::A lot of the clothes here are wrinkled which does not encourage me to buy the clothing. I saw many clothes that I liked here, but the quality was missing thus I didn't purchase the items that I wanted. Upon close examination, the stitching of the clothing is awful. The material of the clothes is also very thin; it feels as if it could rip easily. I won't come back to this again
