  Note: I didn't buy anything here, so can't describe the buying experience. Of course, because Barney's features prestigious designers, often the prices are remarkably high because of the label, rather than the value of design and workmanship. However, they also feature some items that are actually a good value for the price, especially if they're on sale. The jewelry, for example, features unique styles and materials, not just bigger and better than the big jewelry chain stores.

  Lauren in the women’s shoe department was extremely helpful and nice. She helped me pick out my first pair of louboutins for my graduation, a big moment for a young woman! Will be asking for her on future trips.

  I've felt satisfied with every item I've purchased here. Normal prices and good sales. Kind of an annoying snobby atmosphere, but I consider that to be an integral part of the Luxury Megaretailer experience.

  My friends and I are big fans of Fred's Restaurant Bar up on the 5th floor. Very nice Hidden Gem on Rush Street.

  I always love browsing at this store - it inspires my own creativity. Most items are out of my price range, however, way back when I bought my daughter an awesome Balenciaga cargo bag for a bargain price. The jewelry is creatively curated and awesome, as are the shoes and purses. I also love their intriguing selection of luxury cosmetics. They used to have free tampons in the ladies room - although that's a thing of the past. This is a beautiful store that I greatly enjoy, albeit primarily for window shopping.
