Have always loved B&N. The ability to order ahead so you know they have what you want is great, but considering the parking here it would be a better experience if you could do curbside, which this location does not offer.

This Barnes and Noble is great for book lovers. It still feels like the way most B&N stores used to. Due to changing times it seems many Barnes and Noble bookstores have had to change to broaden their appeal to a larger audience at the expense of downsizing their book collections and having more areas dedicated to toys, games, calendars, etc. I mean I get it. These changes may be somewhat necessary for the B&N chain to stay viable, but at the same time I can't help but miss the more bookish stores with their huge chairs and delicate music. This store still has as lot of that old feel for me and when I brought my mom, she loved it and wanted to stay for hours walking the aisles, reading in chairs, and visiting the cafe on the first floor. If you know what I'm talking about, this is a really nice B&N, so stop in and have a casual afternoon or evening like old times. Since it's in the heart of bustling Arlington, finding a meal afterwards won't be hard.

Still a great establishment despite the 'B' DM that caused me to leave. An inspiration it's only slightly disappointing that many of the non popular subjects have to be ordered in. I still love it!

I went in today to browse the magazines, and was pretty disturbed to find a section entitled "Women's Interest"... nothing but fashion magazines. Given that I'm a woman and have much more varied interests than this, I brought it to the attention of the male manager. Not all women care about fashion, and some men *do* care about fashion. He was totally disinterested in my complaint, and blew me off. It's 2022, for crying out loud! I am shocked and disappointed that a major chain like B&N has something so dumb and misogynistic... and that a manager would be so blatant about it. I'll just spend my money at Amazon from now on. No wonder B&N is a dying brand.

Large collection of fiction. Also good amount of non fiction book (history and current affairs. Register to be a member, need to pay $25 for a year and you’ll get 20% discount from your first purchase and 10% after that. Btw I love their Harry Potter corner
