  We bought a vehicle from Gaylen that we drove for one day (Dollied it from Arlington to San Angelo) and now we are making payments on a vehicle that doesn't even run. Way to go taking advantage of a handicapped man. There was no oil at all in it when we checked it before we drove it (Once he got it home to me)..if we had driven it instead of dollied it the motor would have ceased. Now we are looking at a bad turbo. Thanks for the sale there bud! I have bought 4 vehicles from a used car lot here..and even months after a purchase the owner would still make things right if they were to start breaking down too soon. The reason we didn't buy from him was we thought we were getting a unique vehicle..unique POS is more like it. Gaylen even admitted they didn't maintenance the vehicle before the sale..and his words "It drove fine while we had it" WITH NO OIL! The oil plug was still in it..so that was not even a possibility on what could have happened. I work with the military and I am constantly referring Car Lots..Furniture Rentals Etc. they will be on my list of DO NOT BUY FROM. *If there was a negative star review Barclay Motor Co. would surely get it

  No Gaylen does not only stock good cars. He comes off as ok in beginning but wow did I find out something like a scammer. I purchased a 2006 burgundy charger from them that I returned by default...God is awesome (Won’t he do it?!.) Although Gaylen did make a slick comment about a repair that was done but when asked was there any receipts or warranty on the new parts that just had been purchased for the repair, I was told um no we have our own mechanics....ok even better I thought receipt please but I just was like ok. Mind you the car had just been purchased from the car max auction not even a month or so before (evidence was in the truck) 👍🏽Man I wish I hadn’t wasted my time. Not in the car a few days the dash lite up on me I was searching google to figure out what the problem was.?🤔 Go figure the same thing he kinda sort of said was repaired (electronic throttle...) look it up.??? Will have you going in 60 to 5 in .5 really with something like a bucking backfire to go with it. Kinda scary when you have children traveling along👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾What a way to do business there were so many other choices he could have told me about and I could have brought him more business. Shady business dealings 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 . Plus he reminded me of a cray from a lifetime movie. Bad vibes but this was just my experience hopefully yours will be better. I had to tell my truth it’s ok I just don’t like being bs’d.

  My pre-owned Saab I purchased almost 3 years ago from Barclay still runs great. No major repairs. I particularly appreciated the low pressure sales and fair price. Allowing me to test drive the vehicle alone was the deciding factor for my purchase. Thanks for your service.

  I purchased a Mercedes E320 Bluetec. Car was just as described in the ad. The car was in great condition and everything worked. I got a very good deal too based on selling price. Galen is direct and firm but thats because he prices cars right. Definitely recommend going there first.

  We've never worked with Barclays Motors before, but our recent experience with them was pleasant and professional. We purchased a good, quality used car for our kids to drive around. Barclay Motors was honest, fair and reasonable with the transaction. We would definitely buy a car from them again and recommend them to any of our friends.
