  Simple beach. The sand is pretty mediocre. The water? It's at the end of Manhasset Bay after all the boats and industry have had a chance to dump in it. I'm not saying you'll mutate after swimming but count your digits afterwards. I like it because it's close by and the kids enjoy the playground and the sand. Facilities are clean and area is safe.
