  I really wanted to be happy with this gym (cheap as chips and very close to home) but it was just so gross and so inhospitable and so hard to get enthused about attending that after 2 years as a member I had to quit. It's unbelievably hot (and correspondingly smelly) all year around, the staff appear only interested in answering each other's questions, machines break and stay broken literally for months, the men's locker room is a pigsty, and the membership deals with the lack of towel service by - and I'm not kidding - pumping yards of paper towels from the wall dispensers and draping them over machines and using them to wipe themselves (but rarely the machines) down. I've been a NYC gym goer since the 80's and this is absolutely the worst run, dirtiest and hardest to use gym I've yet encountered. Maybe the recent change in ownership will help, but they'll need to spend some money, that's for sure.

  It's great for basic workout. Can't beat the price! Wish it had a pool. Also some of the machines don't work all that great but there are so many that I can always find a good working one.

  I've been a member at this location for the past two and a half years. Some of the staff are very helpful, and the rest are annoyed when you ask questions. The lingering smell is sometimes more than I can handle. The equipment is usually functional, but forget about sanitizing anything after use unless you bring your own wipes because they paper towel dispensers are almost always empty. That said, it's generally really clean and the cleaning crew is always working hard.

  Ужасное обслуживание клиентов. По телефону дают одну иеформацию, а в самом клубе другую. Не привычно, что в нью йорке встретилась с таким хамским поведением.

  The staff is very unprofessional. I was there for a visit during vacation. OMG! Who hires the staff there. I met maybe five decent staff members. Everyone else sucked. The bathroom was nasty when I was there. There was an Indian lady with an accent who was nasty at the desk. Get it together people.
