::Went down with a friend for a get away. She surprised me with this place for two nights. After the first night we wanted to book an additional night. We got an upgraded suite from the owner for two nights additional at great rate. The food downstairs where you check in was delicious. The staff was Amazing that we never left the B&B before 5pm for our adventures after feeling so welcome!!

::The neighborhood and the building are great. It’s 15 mins walk from the French Quarter and there are some cafes and bars in the area. Unfortunately the cleaning service is just decent and breakfast is kind of disappointing. Rooms are quite small but well furnished.

::We stayed here two years ago and the place was amazing! We were in room 7 with it's own private balcony and we loved it. The breakfast was hot and the staff were friendly. This year, we came back and were sorely disappointed. A week before our arrival we got a text that our room we booked, room 7, was unavailable so they switched us to room 4. The room was nothing like the other. It was small and cramped with no balcony. Additionally, there is no longer hot breakfast and our room wasn't ready for check-in at 3 pm as promised. Overall, we were highly disappointed in this experience and this bnb went from our favorite getaway to one of our least favorite.

::We had a lot of fun with this funky b&b . I think Michelle was the one who checked us in .. She was nice and helpful! Even gave us a recommendation on where we should eat. That lady really knows where to get some good food! Our bed was comfy and we LOVED having a balcony. The walk to the French Quarter was very close and the price for the room wasn't bad either. I will say that the only thing I didn't really like was the fact that we had to text someone to get towels. Maybe the owners should leave a few extra stashed in either the rooms or the common areas of the b&b for people to grab . All in all, I'd give it BGH a 4.5 out of 5. I'd definitely stay here again and I will recommend this place to friends and family looking for a great place to stay! We will be back!!!
