::Real nice walking trails, flat paved trails, and if you can check out the dalliah flower show, lots of variety, and many colors, great coffee shop that serves pistachio cake! Take the house tour very informative, and New York State put lots of money in to cleaning up the trails and New plantings! This is one of our favorite places!

::Nature's beauty spread over almost 700 acres. Long walking trails wind through a great many varieties of trees and plants, and also run along the Great South Bay, providing cool breezes on warm summer days. A Tudor-style English country (60-room) mansion features large pieces of oak furniture, stained-glass windows, and imported fireplaces. The mansion is host to art shows, tours and boasts a small museum of the Long Island American Indian tribes and wild life. Amenites include a gift shop, bathrooms and cozy cafe with a beautiful view. Summer time brings a wide variety of musicians performances outdoors on the great lawns. Wedding photos can often be seen in this State Park's gorgeous surroundings.

::Real nice layout. Mansion is decorated for the holidays. Good memories here. Paradise Island is closed right now. Eagle's nest so privacy. Take a tour of the mansion, gardens, the tea room menu....the mansion is beyond description. When you look at everything and realize it is all done by hand. Handicap accessible. Concerts are spectacular.

::Probably the nicest Arboretum on LI. Beautiful grounds, well maintained. The Mansion is spectacular and they host a Victorian Tea every Sunday, which is so popular, you have to make reservations at least a week in advance. A must go on a regular basis, at least e few time a year, especially the first Friday of December for the annual Christmas Tree lighting. Summertime features musical concerts on the grounds. Great place to visit and unwind. Have a picnic or just sit on the benches along the Connetquot River.
