  For a place that sits 41 people, the ambience and vibe is incredible. Don't be alarmed by the alley entrance. It brings a certain level of irony to the experience. We were greeted swiftly when we entered and chose to sit at the bar. The bartenders are craftsman in the art of mixology. They were friendly and highly skilled. I ordered Mysticism and my fiancé chose Past Lives. In short we both were pleased. Make sure you have your wallet loaded fellas as the average drink is about $20.00. We ordered from the menu book so Im' not sure what the prices are for a normal drink. It's hard to not order something from the menu book...they really have some interesting drinks. Great customer service, incredible craft drinks and an excellent ambiance equals a 5 star experience easy.

  Worth the wait! You may have to get on the list and wonder downtown Detroit while you wait for your table, but it's worth it. They've somehow managed to balance high-end atmosphere and cocktails with excellent service without being too stuffy.

  There's a lot of time spent on ambience, and they dress up their drinks with extravagant props and unusual ingredients, but the drinks aren't good. They missed a step. My friend's drink tasted like soap, and mine tasted like an Icelandic version of a beach cocktail, aka horrifying. They can't introduce the most expensive drink in the city yet perform much worse than Sugar House or Antietam, and expect to stay in business much longer than the hype cycle. Disappointing experience.

  Really wish I could give zero stars. The story starts and ends with the hostess who was the most unpleasant person I have ever experienced at an establishment before. Really wish I could have had a better experience. Don’t waste your time.

  This place is super cool. It's a concept bar and and they've implemented the concept with beauty and style. Bad luck - 13 drinks on the menu - access it through a grungy alley. I can attest that of the 13 drinks on the menu I have tried 4 and they were all superb - yummy, yet complex - hand-crafted by people that care. It's tiny though, so good luck getting in without a reservation.
