::Nice neighborhood restaurant, but don't go thinking you're about to discover the latest La Ciccia. Solid, reasonably priced entrees and appetizers.

::The food was good - we had appetizers of eggplant mousse, grilled calamari, salumi, and 5 onion soup, and pans cotta - and it was expensive. Two people, no wine and it was almost $75 before tip. The room is really nice and airy with calm lighting. The service is excellent. It's a step up from most of the neighborhood places in Noe Valley.

::Awesome food and great service. The cod/polenta appetizer is great

::Amazing food, amazing service. They even had gluten free options for myself which can be hard to find. The restaurant is cozy and intimate. They were able to seat us immediately. Most amazing authentic Italian food I have experienced in a long time.

::Nicely decorated, good food but a little put off with slightly cold reception when my party first arrived. Felt host was more concerned with Caucasian patrons than us (minority). Waiter was a little abrupt when we tried to give him a count of how many cups of coffee we wanted, he preferred to count for himself. The thing is, the whole restaurant experience also includes the type of service you get from the employee/owner. It's always nice when the host greets you warmly. So these comments have nothing to do with the food. The three stars reflex the attitudes of the employees. For $76 a person serving 6 people, they should be nicer.
