  This new location for the new location in Belltown. I was really excited to try something new in the neighborhood. Experiences have been with a lot of friends trying to eat here and have been turned away because of arbitrary hours or be that they've felt unwelcomed for a simple night cap. They don't do To Go food which makes sense considering the dishes. Happy hour menus are not printed, but simply are $2 off everything except for oysters. Tried the Duck Liver Mousse which is meant to be shared, very filling. I want to like this place…

  Excellent place. We ordered the chefs tasting menu and were not disappointed. We enjoyed yellow tail both raw and seared, lamb pate, squid, halibut with morels, steak, and other items. Sizes were large and it was almost too much food, which isn't a bad thing. Will be going back.

  Nice friendly bartender, cocktail (Desert Rose) was just ok, beer selection isn't very good. Appetizers were a mix, olives were good, cracklings were not cracklings. They were pieces of pork and tasted ok I guess, although a bit chewy. Without the olives we also ordered, they (cracklings) would have been very one note and hard to finish on their own. We didn't try any entrees.

  Unfortunately had a disappointing time here. Came in at 6pm alone on a Monday. There were only half a dozen other people at the restaurant. Ordered the chef's tasting menu. I could see literally all of the kitchen staff was standing there doing nothing while I was seated at the bar. When I asked again if they were making my food, the bartender assured me they were. Half an hour later I ask him to go physically ask the kitchen staff. He comes back saying something was wrong with the computer and they lost my order. I don't see how this can happen in an almost empty restaurant after I had already for him to check on my order. I asked for some bread while I continued to wait for food. Somehow I got the same wishy washy answer that was given to me when I first asked about my order. I don't see how hard some bread could be. At the end of the meal there was a credit card surcharge. I asked them if they were serious and the bartender immediately became frustrated. He turned his back to me and explained that it was just like a gas station... Why would he cheapen a $75 tasting menu by comparing it to a gas station. Even gas stations don't have a surcharge if you buy $5 of stuff. The saving grace of the meal was that the food was tasty. But I don't see how I can justify a return trip. There were no excuses either. It wasn't even close to busy and they didn't seem to want to spare any patience my way after I spent half an hour staring at the cooks staring at me wondering why they weren't cooking anything.
