  Small square footage, but an awesome selection! Owner was really attentive and made sure I was finding what I was looking for. A really great selection of scifi/fantasy and there's an above average selection of foreign language literature for a used bookstore.

  I've been coming here since I was 17 and homeless and selling books so I could eat, then going back and buying more books so I could run out of money to eat and then have to sell the books back. The prices seem to be the same 10 years later. This is the best bookstore, period. Powells might be bigger, but you can almost always find what you need here, without running around a bunch of orange and purple and rose and whatever. The prices haven't changed, they're awesome. You can ask the owner about pretty much anything and he will know just what you need. Partial titles, partial names, vague rambling descriptions, doesn't matter. Go here and buy books.
