  Best Taco Tuesday in midtown. Tacos priced around 1.25 each, with choices of chicken, asada, carnitas, adobada and veggie (bean-based). Free chips and salsa, fountain sodas, full bar with Modelo on draught. They also have daily lunch specials during the week. Love the Azul burrito and the chicken nachos!

  Amazing atmosphere. Speedy service. Art that amazes. Only qualm: they didn't refill their chip tray for our entire meal and our guac was disappointed.

  Yummy tacos, decent prices. They are heavy handed on the cilantro though so if you aren't a big fan of it ask for them to leave it off. It was very busy the night I went, but they still had a few seats outside. I ordered a side of rice and it was lacking flavor so I would not recommend it. I would've preferred Spanish rice

  The food is great and the venue is a nice place to walk to, but they lose a few stars because we ordered dinner delivered and our $2.00 side order of guacamole was literally a ketchup cup with 1 tablespoon of guacamole in it. That's straight up nonsense. If you don't have cups to sell to-go orders of guacamole, then don't offer it, and, if you only have ketchup cups, then simply don't CHARGE for it. Or add a ton of them.

  Azul Mexican restaurant is the perfect place for lunch. My favorite item in the menu is the Azul burrito. The special sauce they add to the burrito is to die for. Their food prices are not only affordable, but delicious considering the location. I really enjoy visiting Azul because their staff is always very friendly, and they do the best to make sure you enjoy your time while visiting them. Also, I recommend stopping by Azul on a Thursdays night. They have an awesome Spanish singer, who also plays the guitar. His music makes the place very welcoming and relaxed. The best drinks I ever tried in my life are from my two favorite bartenders Gustavo and Luis. The mangoneadas at Azul are a must! I really enjoy talking to the staff when I am there because they make you feel like at home. The environment at the restaurant is always friendly and fun. No matter if you are in the mood for just a beer or partying all night, Azul is the place to be when you are in downtown Sacramento. I have been a loyal customer for the last six years. Even though I like trying different places in downtown, Azul will always be my favorite place .
