  I wish I could give zero stars. There were five of us in line, with one employee (Jamal) working behind the desk. Avis did not have ANY of the cars reserved by anyone in line. All they had were SUVs, and we as customers were forced to pay more for the larger car we didn't reserve in the first place. Jamal was incredibly unhelpful and rude; there was one couple who had just flown in from overseas to begin a cross-country road trip and were distraught to learn the vehicle the reserved six months ago was not available. Jamal shrugged his shoulders and said they could try elsewhere. Shameful.

  I really love renting from this Avis. I'll definitely be using them from now on!

  I just called to confirm my rental for tomorrow since it was booked through a third party. A rude rep answers the phone and tells me we are backed up right now call in an hour. It takes five minutes to type in a confirmation code. Why even answer the phone if you're busy. Now I'm considering renting from someone else. After reading reviews this may have been a sign to not use their services.

  Disappointed! I generally have great experiences with Avis but not at this location. Today went in to get an SUV and had the counter person mumble about a "free" upgrade. I thought great...didn't even ask for an upgrade but could use the space. He then said, just don't fill it up when you bring it back. I told him that I didn't want to take the AVIS fuel option to which he told me, not mumbling this time, that the "free" upgrade was not available unless I took the [over-priced] fuel option. No thanks. Cancelled the reservation, rented from Enterprise where they offered me a complimentary upgrade. So to recap, no more work for me, I'm happy with the complimentary upgrade, and AVIS was left with the originally reserved vehicle AND the upgraded vehicle. Might want to rethink that "upgrade" program AVIS on Courtland!

  Guess I should be grateful they had a car. Reserved a luxury car and when I got there to pick it up was told the did not have one. They offered me a SUV or a Mustang. The biggest problem I have with this location - no effort in trying to resolve this issue. I could either take what was offered or go somewhere else. This location has no customer service at all. This is the first time I have ever had a complaint with a car rental location. Just take it or leave it attitude. What is the point of a reservation two weeks prior if there is no effort on Avis to make good the reservation?
