  Avatar Relocation of NY recently provided us with services for our relocation from New York to Florida. From the original visit and estimate Chris was excellent in providing support and assistance in preparation for the move. When the day of the move came, we could not have been in better hands than with the driver Danny and his crew. Their experience in working together for 30 years helped us through what could have been a very stressful day. Their teamwork and coordination of handling everything from loading boxes, furniture, special packing and loading the truck instilled a sense of calm with the knowledge that we were in the hands of seasoned professionals. Danny called us from the road and kept of informed of when he would be arriving with our stuff in Florida. The crew he had in Florida was excellent as well and in no time our household was downloaded and placed exactly where every item was earmarked to go in our new house. We would highly recommend Avatar, an agent for Atlas Van Lines for any relocation and moving needs. If we were ever to move again (which I seriously doubt) we would not hesitate to contact Avatar/Atlas Van Lines once again.

  Not knowing much about moving And my husband company gave us 2 weeks I took 4 companies and had them walk through We both choose “out of state movers” unfortunately they only delivered 1/2of our things Looking at my papers the fourth company was avatar never calling them When I found myself in this jam and not being able to speak to the owners I called avatar # looking for an arbitrator and spoke to Glenn he spent a lot of time educating me about what to do And he called me back with more suggestions Why didn’t I use avatar first The only thing I can do is pass on their phone number and thank god for sound advice from an honest moving company Thank you Glenn I’m calling better business bureau on out of state movers

  I highly recommend Chris N. And his exceptional company for your next move. During the process of preparing to move from Long Island to Florida I interviewed 6 moving companies. I read every review, called some companies multiple times to question their policies and how their process would work. I called Avatar movers last as I became frustrated at how sleazy all the other movers made me feel. Well that feeling ended when I met with Chris Noblit at my home to get an estimated quote. He was very professional, honest and upfront about the whole process. His policies on downpayment and final payment were the best I could find. I also was able to put the whole cost on my credit card which was fantastic and safe. Chris gave an estimated weight based on what he saw at our home and I couldn’t believe that he was accurate within a few pounds. Amazing! On moving day the most polite, hardworking crew arrived and my wife and I immediately knew we had made the right choice. They took care of every detail and were gentle and caring with our stuff. Danny the driver was excellent and gave us his cell number. He told us we could call him at any time and get informed about when we could expect him to arrive. I also need to point out that Avatar is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Their price was right in the middle. They have the fairest policy on weight charges and it’s all very upfront, fair and honest. I was surprised at all of the hidden fees and tricks other movers employ and felt safe using Avatar. I am a very good shopper and try hard to vet every company and vendor I use. I can confidently recommend Avatar moving for your move without hesitation.

  I cannot say enough good things about my move with Avatar. The team of movers were polite, professional, knowledgeable, honest and extremely helpful about any request I had. When I asked them to move several items to different locations than I originally asked for, their replies were always "no problem". They made what could have been an extremely difficult day "almost" enjoyable. The icing on the cake was when I was told my bill was a little less expensive than originally quoted. Thank you Avatar!

  Having been in the moving business all of my life, people always ask me for sound advice on long distance moves. The choice is simple, call Avatar! Billy and Chris are down to earth people and have a great staff throughout their organization. They always do what they say they're going to do, and there's never any surprises! They are prompt, careful, honest, and I never have to worry when a friend or relative needs their services. They're in good hands.
