  Rachel did a great job and I was very pleased with the results and her work. I was surprised the guy at the desk did not accept my Avanti gift card. He said it was for their holiday pop up blow out bar. I figured since it was an avanti gift card it would work. I think they should put an expiration date on them next time. Loved Rachel tho!

  Everything was just fine. If you’re looking for something creative, I wouldn’t go here. I think their strong suit is likely with basic cut/colour/styling, as the majority of the clients were quite posh and leaning towards older generations. The vibe was lacking, and the front desk wasn’t terribly enthusiastic. For the amount that I paid, I was expecting something a more creative and what I got was very standard wedding hair, which was quite dissapointing. I’d compare my experience at this “upscale” salon to any very basic salon in New York or London. Again, come here if you want to drop money on basic cut and colour, but not for anything else.

  I have been going to Avanti for several years and I would never go anywhere else. I almost don’t want to say how great Laura is because then it could be harder to get an appointment with her! She is so nice and she takes the time to answer any questions you have about color, cut, etc. and make suggestions without being pushy. It’s so refreshing to see her every few months and just relax because she knows my hair.

  Beautiful, airy space. Johnny is fantastic, as always, with highlights and blow outs (I always get compliments from strangers). Absolutely worth a visit!

  Avanti is a very pleasant salon. The team is very service oriented and quick to offer a refreshment, cappuccino or herbal tea.The hairdressers are among the friendliest and talented I've experienced. Alex has been doing my hair for the last few years. He listens to what I want and always delivers a flawless execution. Besides, he is a genuinely nice person. Not only does my hair look great but spending time with Alex is a highlight of each appointment.
