  Staff truly seems to care for the residents. The interior of the facility is old and has an ancient television in one of television rooms but people are warm and caring.

  there is a strong lack of care here...grandmother was there, she was in and out of the hospital because no one was taking care of her, we found her outside on a bench while it was 90 degrees and was suffering from heat exhaustion and shortly one month later she fell and broke her hip due to no supervision and she died a few days after. Don't bring your loved ones here...if I could give negative stars I would.

  I am a professional entertainer who stages music performances at Avalon on a regular basis. I have found the staff to be such caring and professional people who give the comfort and respect the residents deserve. In addition to performances by myself and others, the recreation department provides a host of other activities.
