  NO COMPASSION, NEGLECTED MY FATHER. ATRIA OF ARDSLEY, NEW YORK. SENT MY FATHER, BERNARD FINKELSTEIN, 82 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME, AND HAD ADVANCED ALZHEIMERS, TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT MIDNIGHT, ALONE. YES ALONE! WHO DOES THAT? WOULD YOU WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOUR PARENT AND YOU GET A CALL AT 1AM TELLING YOU THEY SENT HIM OFF ON AN AMBULANCE BY HIMSELF?? I GOT TO THE HOSPITAL AND THEY HAD HIM TIED UP TO A WHEELCHAIR. HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON. ALL OF THIS DUE TO DEHYDRATION, SOMETHING ATRIA SHOULD HAVE BEEN CARING FOR, HIS WATER INTAKE.

  Basically one of the worst place you could work because of the blatant racism of the residents and managers.. those people are so nasty in attitude and are so gossipy. I'm so happy I don't work here anymore, what a headache to have to deal with those things.

  The Atria - Woodlands has been a great home for my Mom. She has been a resident of the independent living area and is now a resident of the assisted living facility. The staff has always been exceptionally caring and professional. They make The Atria feel like it's really her home. We'd like to especially thank Sandra McNeish, Claudette Witter, April Williams for being there!

  Robert Dejesus: Handsome, well dressed, infectious smile! No problem is too difficult to discuss or to try and resolve. Since he set foot behind the Front Desk, he brings a smile to the faces of everyone that passes by. He is always ready and willing to assist the residents. Just mention the name "Robert" and we feel secure and thankful for his presence.
