  My wife and I stayed for a month mid Aug-Sep. 2016. The apartment was well furnished and very clean, although the walls are extremely thin. You can hear people talking beside and below you and breathing in the bedroom next to you at night. We paid a “daily rate” which totaled $3500 on a monthly basis for a small one bedroom. But we likely could have gotten a less expensive monthly rate had we known we would be staying that long. The one star rating I’m giving this review is because we still have not been refunded our $500 security deposit, a full THREE months after we moved out. We were promised our deposit would be refunded the first week in October - and it’s now mid-December and no refund yet, contrary to strict requirements of Alaska Landlord Tenant law. We have texted, emailed, and spoken by phone with the landlord several times over the past three months and each time been offered various excuses and repeated promises that our deposit would be returned soon. Yet three months later no deposit refund, despite passing our checkout inspection with flying colors and no issues. My wife and I are really disappointed to have been treated this way when we good, conciencious renters. Unfortunately at this point it looks like we might have to take Athenian Village to court to get our deposit back. That’s surprising and should be a warning flag to all.

  Nice place to live. Disconcerting however that the building supervisor entered my unit without permission to see if the fan was on (I don't have a fan) while I was indisposed

  I have to say, Athenian Village Apartments has gone to great lengths, far beyond what is typical of a real estate agent. She negotiated on our behalf to make a difficult deal happen. However, after the deal was done, Athenian Village Apartments was very helpful at taking care of other issues. Really top quality in terms of service, attention to detail and striving to ensure client satisfaction. She`s a rare, service dedicated professional in what can be a very tricky business for a client.

  Home for rent vacations always have the potential to be miserable failures. Though here I think I struck gold. Best place I've been so far this year.

  Quite the well rounded company if you're looking for an apartment rentals, whether it's short or long term, those are your guys!
