  Ashby Forever Will Be in My Heart Remember when the SF/Millbrae train ran through? Off to see the city. Off to work that day. A quick chat as we passed under Oakland and the Bay. It's what I think of every stop at Ashby.

  Good hotdogs stand.love the custom Polish dog with melted cheese, chopped onion and tomato on a steamed bun. Sorry no pics since I ate it. But did help BART to earn extra 2 stars.

  Eh, BART stations are all eh. Always lots of improvement to be done, at least the union knows that BART trains need new seats! This is one of the more favorite BART stations to be at. Downtown Berkeley is always swarming with kids and Ashby is always more quiet and accessible. It is relatively safe compared to MacArthur which is why I like coming to this one more when I'm meeting friends in the East Bay. The only downside is that parking is minimal and there are farmer's markets that take up the entire right side of the parking lot!
