::Way better pawn shops out there that give more money for what you have .

::Prices at this place for used equipment are more $ then buy off eBay and paying shipping. Example in Arrow Pawn Stihl MS290 $283.14 no warranty. eBay $235 + 30 shipping $265 and you get a warranty. Not to mention employee claims I service all the Stihls to factory standards. Learned a lesson. Bought a chainsaw, never could get it to crank, spend another $100 to have it serviced. Runs fine now but definitely got had at this place. Should have read the reviews first . Wish I could give zero stars !

::Very unfriendly and unprofessional! Their prices are outrageous and they are unwilling to negotiate even a little bit. I consider myself to be an informed shopper but I also realize that places like this need to make a profit. However my customer service experience with this business was downright terrible and I would highly recommend not visiting this location.

::I have used a lot of different pawn shops in the state of NC and in other states as well for many years on and off. I always pay my loans off and get my merchandise back. I have never lost anything! Each time I pawn there has always been a standard or common rule to adhere to and this has been the same with each of the pawn shops I have used and that is this: Everyone gets ninety days from the original date of the loan before your merchandise is forfeited and that means the pawn shop now owns your stuff if you go ninety days without a payment, or you can make interest payments to keep it from being forfeited, or you can pay the interest and the original loan amount and get your merchandise out! This has been the rule with EVERY pawn I have used. Also, each and every pawn shop I have used would allow me to pay ONE month of interest to renew and it didn't matter what month I was in. I could be in my ninety-day and only have enough money to pay for one month of interest and they would allow me to pay that one month to renew. I could keep doing this for a year if I wanted to as long as I was paying at least one month of interest to keep it from being forfeited. Hey, the pawn shop is making money (a good chunk of money I might add) off the interest that accrues and most people don't mind paying the interest long term if they can keep from losing their stuff and then redeem it when they are financially able to do so. It also shows the pawn broker that the individual is serious about getting their stuff out if they are continuously making those payments. If that person does not redeem or renew, then the pawn is going to make a profit off the sale of that merchandise and everyone who has ever pawned knows this because they never loan you the true value of your merchandise, but will turn around and sell it for a lot more. It has not happened to me, but many folks I know. So, every pawn shop I have used has been the same on this rule EXCEPT Arrow Pawn!!! These guys will tell you one thing on the phone and then change it up once you come inside. They will not let you get into your ninety day window without making TWO MONTHS of interest payments!!! They will tell you that their computer system won't let them go back only one month... (Yeah, right). I will not be using these guys in the future and don't recommend anyone to use them either. There are plenty of other pawn shops in the area that use the common rule of renewal and they are a lot nicer and friendlier. Find out the terms of your loan before you place your trust in any pawn broker which is what I should have done, but as I said, I am accustomed to the rule that has been the same with every pawn and in every state I have lived until ARROW PAWN.. Go figure!!!
