  Wow, very knowledgeable and friendly staff with large selection and reasonable pricing. Jim was a huge help and showed us their fabulous map selection and gave us a few local tips on parking. Very sweet shoe and sock selection. Really improved our hiking experience. We will be back soon.

  As a first time climber I picked up some climbing shoes wanting to support local business even though the price was higher than elsewhere. I wasn’t sure what to expect size wise so I trusted their recommendation and bought a pair. Two climbs later I was positive they were too small and were not going to work for my foot size. Hoping to return them for my money back I took them in and they slid over a paper mentioning a 10 day return policy with shoes that I never got when I made my purchase. I had tried on a different style shoe from a friend that they didn’t offer that fit better so an exchange wasn’t going to work. They perhaps could’ve offered an in-store credit as another option, as I am in the market to purchase other climbing gear. At this point, that ship has sailed. It’s too bad for the small local shops when online offers better price and better customer service.

  Paul assisted us today during our visit he is awesome! He took time to answered all of our questions and was enthusiastic while doing so! They have a large selection of equipment from hiking, repelling, water, clothes, ready eat meals!

  I am based in Lincoln, Nebraska where kind people are plentiful. I am fairly new into Rock Climbing, so when I had an extra day in Phoenix I needed information. I stopped here and had a lot of questions and needed advice. I experienced the kindest most honest people I have ever met. They not only sold me things that I actually needed , they gave me advice on who I should contact to make my “free” day more enjoyable. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants to gain valuable, honest information. Also they are the most non pushy people you will meet. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you all soon.
