::If I could give 0 stars I would. Long story short.... My 8 year old daughter rented a viola from them a few months back and with that rental we had also ordered a viola instruction book. When we went to pick up the instrument and the instruction book. They had given us a viola, but an instruction book for a violin. A month or two went by and my daughter's viola instructor informed us that she had the wrong book. My wife and I called up and they told us to bring the book back and that they would exchange it for the right book. HOWEVER, upon arrival at Ardsley Music Store, the clerk at the counter informed me that my daughter's book was used and therefore had to charge me for a new book. I complained and informed the clerk that what she was doing was petty and unfair and that it was shameful to charge me for a new book that after all, they were the ones who made the mistake and gave me the wrong book in the first place. My wife and I are no musicians, we didn't know they gave us a violin book. They are the ones who are SUPPOSED to be the professionals. Well anyway, I called the clerk petty, but was forced to pay for the book. My daughter needed it the next day. Unfortunately, they lost our business because of that. We will never rent and/or do any business there ever again. Their $10.00 for that book cost them years of business from us. Never again.

::My daughter rented a used flute in December of last year(2016). We were offered a 10 month rental plus the summers free. April stated that we were suppose to renew it in June even though the agreement was for a year. In June my daughter was simply asked if she was keeping it for the summer, which she replied yes to, and that was that. No renewal papers or anything else was sent to us. We received a call this past summer about the renewal and late fees, with no explanation, and none of the prices that was represented in the original agreement. I asked how much to purchase, April decided to try and charge $300 dollars for a overly used flute and 100 less for a new renewal. I disagreed with the pricing so she said to just return it and that's it. I went to go return the flute and she tried to charge $100. When you have a business you need to be fair, direct, and stick to what's on the paper. April stated everything was done electronically but when I asked for what she was saying in writing she gave me the run around. She was rude on the phone, and smug and smirking in person. Greed, being phony and childish is bad business practice.
