Came here twice, heard two different answers for the same problem, and the final answer was basically ridiculous. In both times, so many employees walking around leisurely and not one can help you or even look at you. Apple needs to stand down from the high heels and deliver on the basics: be respectful (instead of "cool"), be efficient, be transparent, be reasonable. The "Apple Store" concept is not working.

I walked in a with an iPhone that was not responding to touch and was asked if I had an appt, which I didn't because I didn't know the phone would stop working. The next available appointment was 8 days away. I sat for close to 2 hours before someone could help me. Why I sat there I noticed 6-8 apple employees at any time standing around talking or waiting to "greet people." Not one of those people could assist me? or at least triage the situation? After finally being helped by a tech person I was told that I should go to my carrier because they could fix the phone but in order to activate the insurance I needed to go to my service carrier. I had asked when I walked in if I should go to my carrier and they told me that I would be better off at their store.

I have owned an I pad, many I phones, 3 I macs and many other apple products. And not to be able to speak to ANYONE when you have a minor question is a disgrace. Spending Billions of dollars on products and 2 cents on customer service is a appalling. The only way I can get a simple question answered is to go to the store.. When I go on apple care about my iMac and I mac only I get quick and wonderful care. Why do your stores give you a phone number to call when you cannot get an answer.

Alex was great in providing technical support and running battery diagnostics on two iphones that I own. Incredibly patient and offered helpful advice along the way. All customer service reps should be this good. Kudos!
