::Great quick hike, beautiful view of the Hudson valley. Not long at all, took me about 3 hours to do both ways, and take in the sights at the top.

::Nice entrance to the Appalachian Trail heading north. Just past the Bear Mountain Bridge. Climbing up the side of a mountain so bring a trek stick and a hiking buddy. Park on the side of the road. Pull your side view mirror in. Please don’t litter. 😊

::Great hike! A bit steep at times- but nothing you, your dog,or child can’t handle with a little break here and there for those who need it. well worth it. Plenty of space to relax a bit with a snack. Some great edgy places you can dangle your feet and get some spectacular views!

::It's a really great hike that is moderate to easy. If you have children about 7 and above, they would enjoy it and you can even bring your dog as it's not a bad hike for them either. Definitely bring extra water and bug repellant if you plan coming later in the day. The hike should roughly take you anywhere from 40 to 55 mom depending on your speed. Be careful in the decent as it can be steep in some areas and there are allot of rocks. PS, follow the rocks that look like steps as they take you in the right path.
