  If you really love Italian food? Then you need to try this place. The best Italian restaurant in Sacramento. The salads are always fresh and clean. The vegetables that they serve with the main dish are never overcooked or undercook. The same thing with the pasta cook to the right tenderness. The meats are always cooked to the right temperature. And the sauces are very tasty. And to rate this restaurant on garlic bread how silly. No Chef Boyardee served here.

  I was looking forwad to Italian food the day that I ate here and was very sadly dissapointed. Everything tasted like it was from a can. I don't think that there was anything that was made from scratch. The best thing that I had ordered was a basic salad but you can't really mess that up.

  Stopped here for the first time for a quick sit-down meal instead of fast food. Parking lot is a bit crowded since this restaurant is in a shopping plaza/strip mall. They had room to sit right away but the tables quickly filled by the time we were done eating, which is always a good sign. Server simply took our order with no extra chit chat. There was no delay in being served. Cheesy garlic bread was good but a small portion. Salad was ok. Main course was ok, medium portion but filling. They don't have too many tables so it stays fairly quiet. I'd say this fit the bill for what we were looking for, and was about what we expected from a small location like this.

  A neighborhood gem of a place. Anthony's is unassuming and wonderful. Very tasty pasta and minestrone soup is quite decent. Lasagna, veal dishes and salads are also very good. Looks entrely family-run, and they are very earnest and intent on pleasing all who come through their doors.

  Just finished a meal there, so review is fresh in my mind. Salad, why even do a salad if you cant be bothered to wash the lettuce? Unwashed lettuce is disgusting. The bread-- they serve the most flavorless bread I have ever encountered, even with all the margarine and garlic powder they put on it. Bread is the corner stone of an Italian restaurant and the bread they serve is downright horrible. Salad and bread in the garbage. The desert was frozen. Everything else was pre-made and tasty, about on par with a good pizza place.
