::Over the years, this restaurant has been one of my favorite ones in Denver. It is a neighborhood hangout. The menu is good, and has some unique items that should not been ignored. For the decades in which I have known the place, it has moved, has somewhat changed management, changed some of the menu and has changed almost all of the wait staff. The friendly atmosphere and good food has not changed over time. The green chili, one of a southwestern dishes remains to be the best in the West (in my personal opinion), and must be tried in one of the dishes (try the Mexican burger). ***Warning: people not used to somewhat spicy food must try this with some caution.

::Amazing food and great atmosphere. Their menu had so many different choices, everyone in our party of 6 found something they wanted. The waiter also overheard it was my mom's birthday and treated her with a free candy necklace. It made her day! Will definitely be back!

::Adorable place with a great retro menu. My kiddos had Shirley Temples and there's a little candy shop in the front. The owner (I think?) was super sweet and even recommended a few local places for us since we had just moved here. I woukd have done 5 stars, but we thought it was a little pricey ($55 before tip for parents and two kids), but worth it for a fun experience. Great place for our family lunch choice!

::I don't know why I haven't reviewed this place before. I love it!! I usually get the same veggie omelette with feta but their French toast is different but amazing as well (and I LOVE French Toast. The staff us crazy friendly and helpful. Also the atmosphere gives me flashbacks of the 80's with the lunch boxes and some old school candy all around. I haven't gotten lunch there but I'm sure it's great too!! Either way try it out... you won't be disappointed 😊

::Great place to go for home-style comfort food. I had the Philly French dip and the burger - both were fantastic! I had to try the green chili after seeing the review. It was pretty good; I just wish it was a bit spicier. As many others had noted, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to our needs. A++ for this. One thing I thought was awesome is that their kids meals came with ice cream. Definitely a nice change of pace from the junky toys you often get with other kids meals. NOTE: If you're planning on parking here, be aware the lot is SUPER small. You may want to consider parking a few blocks away
