  I didn't have a great experience with her. I was looking for a way to vent out and find some answers to why I felt the way I did but I don't think I made any progress with her. She didn't come across as really caring too much about the issue I was seeing her about and her style is not really engaging. I think her clientele is mostly Jewish women so make sure you're a good match for her. I didn't think she was friendly and she has a bit of an attitude if you argue with her. She also ate yogurt during our session a few times which I found unprofessional. She did ask me permission though lol but how could I say no since it's her office? Waste of money and time. I got better by myself.

  I appreciate the relationship I've built with Mrs. Meth-Thorburn. She gives me the tools that I have utilized daily, and for that I'm grateful. I like to view her as my life coach. Can't thank her enough.

  Andrea is very caring, she listens and responds to in a way that makes me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend her if you need someone to talk to other than a friend or family member. A++ :)

  I started going to Andrea in 2012. She was extremely helpful to me in a very difficult time in my life. I stopped going to her temporarily because I had a baby and when back to her because I was suffering from depression. She helped me deal with my emotions. She was not afraid to give me her honest opinion. She even told me to try different ways of dealing with my problems. At one point I was doing bad financially and she work out a payment plan so I can continue seeing her, since she wasn't taking my new insurance. She geniuly didn't want to stop helping me.   I've been working with Andrea for about three years now and have had a wonderful experience. Before meeting with Andrea I saw 4 other psychologists and had very little luck with each of them. What is different about Andrea and what I appreciate the most is that she's always completely honest and doesn't hesitate to speak her mind. If say or do something she thinks is harmful or unhealthy she will immediately say so, explain why such thinking or behavior is harmful, and discuss positive changes I can make to overcome it. For those - like me - who sometimes need a healthy dose of reality she's the perfect person to see. And although I'm a rather sensitive person I've always found her to be extremely compassionate and polite, even when challenging me on certain issues. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is serious about working towards a better and happier life!
